Santa Rosa

"Wanted" poster. This is an official park picture. :-)

Was this in another life?

Counted 14 wild turkeys on this side of the road near My Brother-in-Laws house in Santa Rosa, CA. They flew across the road, and joined more on the other side. Very large birds!

My Mother-in-Law, Pauline Wells. 100 years, 2 months. She walks, talks, and eats well. :-) A pretty tough lady. Can you even imagine the changes she's seen in the World since she was born in 1910?

Saturday breakfast place. The Valley Cafe in a strip mall. The food was good and plenty.

Met Howard Sublow (nitelite) in the Black Bear Diner in Rohnert Park. His son, Brian showed up soon after we got there. Sure was nice to see them! Howard is about ready to get around this small chicken fry, it came with 3 large slices of toast as well. A California snack.

Brian came in on Howard's old Nomad. A chilly, rainy day, but when you're young and tough, you don't mind a little bad weather. This is a GREAT father and son team!

Howard left in the Jeep, and Brian is ready to hit the freeway back to Petaluma. He has the "tunes" going wide open on the bike :-) Maybe it will help keep him warm.
